ACS has the capability to successfully conduct surveillance in both urban and rural settings. Each ACS investigator is also equipped with covert camera equipment that allows the investigator to obtain video inside of stores, businesses, or other locations visited by the surveillance target.

Prior to the start of each surveillance, a desk investigation is conducted in an effort to locate any information that will assist in the surveillance. Several internet databases, social media sites, and other resources are checked at no additional charge to the client.

Based on client needs, ACS can determine the alive or deceased status through Social Security Administration information, telephone inquiries, neighborhood canvasses, surveillance, or face-to-face contact.

When dealing with a Workers’ Compensation claim, it is crucial to gather information as soon as possible. ACS can act on short notice to help the client determine if an injury is work-related or affected by a third party by conducting interviews, obtaining statements, and obtaining photographs.
ACS can assist clients in a corporate environment by conducting employee interviews, integrity interviews, employee surveillance, facility surveillance, delivery and logistic surveillance, and inventory and sales record reviews.
ACS has access to a variety of databases to assist in the investigative process. ACS also has a Michigan Department of State Direct Access terminal, which provides the ability to retrieve current and accurate vehicle and driver information.
ACS can assist the client in determining if an employee is abusing benefits provided by the Family and Medical Leave Act or if the conditions described by the employee to receive benefits are fraudulent.

ACS employs investigators that specialize in conducting interviews and obtaining statements for a variety of purposes. Our diverse group of investigators is able to put the subject at ease, which allows for a more accurate and truthful accounting of the events in question.
ACS obtains high quality digital photographs of vehicle / property damage, assets (automobiles, boats, houses, etc.), accident scenes, and other subjects of interest to the client.
ACS has a physical therapist on staff to review claimant treatment and billing records. ACS can assist the client in determining if the claimant is receiving the proper level of care and if the charges incurred are appropriate to the care.
ACS uses a multitude of investigative resources available to us to locate and properly serve otherwise hard to locate parties involved in court actions.
ACS conducts investigations on questionable treatment providers by determining the identity of employees and the times they are at the location, the identity of the patients and the duration of their visits, along with covert video of the interior of the facility. This information can be used by the client to compare with billing and treatment records received from the facility.
